Nutritional therapy is the process of working with clients individually and finding out which nutritional factors affect health and well-being.
The nutritional therapy applies to conditions including weight management, skin problems (eg acne), diabetes, hypertension and cancer etc. It works along the principle of changing habits around food to ensure that results like a healthy weight can be maintained.
The nutritional therapist will look at a full health history to establish any health problems which may be contributing towards weight gain. You will be asked to provide a 3 day food diary to see how, when and what you eat.
An initial consultation takes 1 hour with optional follow-up sessions taking 30 minutes.
There are no side effects. Setting up new eating habits will provide long-term health benefits.
